International Education Institute (IEI) is a boutique English language school located in the centre of Christchurch city, in the South Island of New Zealand. Students from all around the world have been coming to study and learn English at IEI for over 14 years, and at the same time enjoying the many adventures that New Zealand is famous for.

IEI offers a range of English language courses, including Cambridge, IELTS and TOEIC exam preparation. We teach classes at all levels, from Beginner to Advanced, so it doesn’t matter what your English level is, we have a class for you.

During your stay in Christchurch, it is important that you have a comfortable place to stay, so we offer a variety of accommodation.  Most students choose to stay with a friendly, New Zealand homestay family, which includes your room, meals and the chance to get to know a local family, while other students prefer the independence of living in an apartment or hostel.  Let us know which you prefer and we can arrange this for you!

After class, you’ll have a lot of time to enjoy the many activities and sightseeing opportunities that NZ is so famous for. With a dynamic weekly activities programme, you can join your classmates for after school or weekend activities, improving your English and having fun at the same time.
